With a small diameter and a reasonable stroke, the Road Air 2 looked like being a good pump out of the box. On first use it performed very well indeed.
Sadly, 10 uses down the line and the seal inside the valve head was so ripped up there wasn’t a way to stop it from leaking. The same happened to a spare seal in just eight uses.
A little bit of lubrication (grease, spit, lard) in the seal before using it prevents this from happening – but forget, and it’ll be ripped up in no time.
