This is one of the most stylish tools around, but looks alone don’t fix chains. Thankfully, this 7/8/9/10-speed chain tool does, but we were surprised by the excess movement at the drive pin.
You have to take care to ensure an accurate drive pin position on the rivet, which is essential for a clean push.
So while the Dragonfly can easily and comfortably get the job done, there are more accurate chain splitters on the market that you should keep an eye out for.
