Good value way to carry all the tools you need

Anyone who knows one end of a Topeak Alien or Park MTB-3 from the other will be at home using this new offering from Passport, as it's a very similar beast.

The separable two-piece nylon body houses a full ship's complement of Allen keys, a T25 driver, 8, 9 and 10mm spanners, spoke keys, screwdrivers, tyre levers, a knife, a bottle opener and a chain tool. The steel tools (Cr-V for the drivers, stainless for the rest) are pretty easy to use, with the spanners and (very sharp) knife locking into place.

The chain tool is a solid performer, but does allow you to push the pin all the way out of the chain; care is needed, as it is with the metal tyre lever. The two halves lock together with a reassuring click, and the CDW comes with a nylon pouch with a belt loop. It's quite a hefty beast, but a pretty effective all-in-one toolkit, and at least a fiver cheaper than its rivals, so it's good value.
