Basic model that’s too flimsy to be of much use out on the trail

It's never good when multi tools bend under pressure, and the Pedros Folding Hex did, bearing out the rather plasticky appearance. The tool selection is adequate, but this falls into the middle ground between the very minimal types such as the Topeak Mini 9 that are tiny enough to bung into a pocket, and the bigger, more highly specified models.

The Folding Hex is probably the sort of thing that people buy when they're starting out, and then graduate on to more complex things.
