A small, light and well finished pocket-sized saviour but a bit more grip on the chain tool would be nice

The V10 is a compact piece of bicycle fixery that wields 10 forged and machined chrome vanadium tool bits, all sandwiched between two CNC-machined 7075 aluminium side plates.

It's one of the smallest (63x50x15mm) and lightest (102g) multi-tools – with a chain breaker – that we've seen. The slim design and minimal weight mean it's unobtrusive and can be stuck in a pocket or tucked in a pack and forgotten about until you need it.

The well finished tool bits sport all the essentials, including T25 and T30 Torx drivers, and a separate 8mm Allen key, rather than the usual snap-on attachment. They all work well and even their pivots are nicely machined. There are no loose or snaggy bits either, which is a bonus.

The wide body means you can get a decent grip when wrenching but the chain tool's smooth tab can be a little fiddly if you have a truly troublesome link. It also lacks a second set of chain teeth for freeing stiff links, although that could be done manually.
