Definitely a decent choice of tools, but outclassed by some of its rivals

This is a decent selection of specialist tools, but not a comprehensive package. It's good if you don't mind filling in a few gaps.

The selection of separate wrench-style tools for bottom brackets, freehubs, pedals and sprockets in this kit covers all the bases of recent gear, while there are a chain tool, cable cutters, a seven-function mini tool and some tyre levers, too.

If you have a three-piece Shimano Octalink chainset on your bike you'll need to buy a crank extractor 'mushroom' adaptor, Shimano part number TL-FC15, to work with the standard crank extractor supplied. But the kit will tackle bottom bracket bearing cup removal on modern two-piece cranks. The cassette lockring removal tool fits Campagnolo and Shimano.

Yo do get rare stuff such as big Torx keys for Shimano and FSA chainring bolts. Unfortunately you don’t get the cleaning stuff and useful box that comes with the same-priced Lifeline tool kit, which is a real shame.
