Strong, but slim enough to fit into tight gaps

These Soma tyre levers have a steel shank running rightthrough their plastic body to provide extra strength, but they're still thin enough to slip into tight gaps and get tyres off.

They're not totally indestructible but they're infinitely better than any plastic alternatives we've used.

Guy Kesteven

Guy Kesteven is one of the world's most experienced bike testers.
