Looking more like a classic Continental moped helmet than your typical cycling lid, the Camaleonte (Italian for chameleon) Executive is something a bit different for the city streets.
The closure roller doubles as a push-operated rear light. Turning it on and off on the go is quick and easy, as are battery changes.
Unfortunately, the closure mechanism feels flimsy and the helmet had a habit of slowly sliding forward on your head throughout the ride.
Some cooling was felt despite the lid having relatively few vents. The Camaleonte without the LEDs costs £39.99.
