MET’s 199 helmet has added a silver colour option for the 2007 season, but it would be nice to see a Cofidis team version, too.

The French ProTour team are wearing the 199 – the world’s lightest bike helmet at just under 200g – along with Saunier Duval, who are sticking with the yellow.
And it really does feel light and comfortable, with perforated Kevlar straps, 17 vents and Coolmax pads. Two sizes cater for most heads.
