Good looking and well priced, but hot and can be difficult to get a good fit

It’s hard to overlook the low price and subtle style of the SixSixOne Dirt Lid. The solid ABS outershell and EPS foam liner are robust enough to take their fair share of hits, yet the whole lid still only weighs in at 395g.

There are three different thicknesses of padding, which offer a comfy fit and wick sweat well. Things heat up pretty quickly in the Dirt Lid though, with no internal channelling to help make the most of the 11 vents. It’d also be good if there was one more size option to get the fit a little more tailored, especially for those with smaller heads.
