Amazing looks, great fit and covers all the required standards. What more could you want?

This could be the best looking helmet of 2008.

As the name suggests, this is an evolution of SixSixOne’s previous Bravo series. Sure, there are hints of what many would call the full face helmet template, the D2, in terms of design, but there’s something distinctly individual about this lid.

This all-new shell design gives fantastic coverage and excellent visibility and all types of goggle fit comfortably inside.

Weighing in at around 950g, you don’t feel the urge to remove this lid at the end of every run because it simply doesn’t bother you as much as some heavier helmets might.

The visor is a great length – it gives ample coverage in the wet but doesn’t hinder visibility. The meshed venting allows enough airflow through the lid to keep things breezy and the mesh prevents any unwanted debris getting in your cake hole.

The inner pads are removable and washable, and give a comfy yet stable fit. The strap uses a tenax quick-release clip rather than the double loop system that many manufacturers use.

The carbon lid is available in two colour options, and there’s also a cheaper composite shell.
