The B1 lid features no less than 10 mesh-covered vents within its ABS shell – four at the front, two on top and four at the rear. These vents work with the venting channels that are cut into the polystyrene inner to keep your head surprisingly cool when you’re on the move.
The padding is comfy and the fit is superb, and thankfully doesn’t interfere with the top of your ears. The good airflow means you don’t notice the helmet’s 474g weight quite so much.
The alternative styling may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but we happen to like it.
