The Panoram is a simple but easy to set up and use computer at a good price. It’s a properly waterproof “drop it in a puddle or hose it clean without worrying” unit and gets a two-year guarantee too.
The ziptie mount fits on bars, stems and top tubes, and the Jubilee clip style mount on the ‘lipstick’ fork sensor is much more secure than O-ring equivalents. The two-tone, three-line, four-cell design puts a big speed or max speed reading in the centre of the display.
The glove-friendly single button then scrolls through the other eight functions on the top and bottom rows. They get hard to see in darker/wetter conditions though, because there’s no backlight.
There’s a cheaper wired version too (the V10x) if you want a fail-safe connection, as well as the more expensive cadence-counting V10c .
