Our review
Low on noise and high on resistance options, but fairly pricey for what it has on offer

We haven’t ridden the Kinetic Magnetic before, and we were impressed. It’s very quiet and offers eight resistance settings via a handlebar-mounted lever, making it suitable for any fitness level.

The lowest setting is quite low, though: our sprint test took 60 seconds from flat-out to a stop; we wouldn’t use this setting for anything but recovery rides, but it’s nice to have the option. At the other end of the scale, there’s more than enough resistance for powerful riders.

Overall a good choice, though it is a bit pricey.

  • Resistance type: Magnetic
  • Sprint to standstill: 60 seconds
  • Setup time: 6 minutes
  • Noise: Quiet
