Trek WSD Interval Helmet review

The Interval has been in the Trek helmet line for a couple of seasons, but it gets a face lift for 2007. Sharper styling and a colour which divides opinion between those in the majority who love it and a few for whom 'yukky mushy pea' is no-go.

Good value women-specific helmet

The Interval has been in the Trek helmet line for a couple of seasons, but it gets a face lift for 2007.

Sharper styling and a colour which divides opinion between those in the majority who love it and a few for whom 'yukky mushy pea' is no-go.

Technically it has in-molding to fuse the hard outer shell to the impact absorbing EPS foam liner, an internal 'roll cage', Quick Fit and Zip-tite Fit and tension systems, removeable visor and inner pads plus enough air sucking vents to stop rivulets of 'glow' from ruining the mascara. Ideal.

Just as useful to racers and style hungry weekend riders, the Interval is all the helmet you need for a few quid less than the helmet only brands.
