Our review
Light and lots of sizes but limited ventilation and pad removal will soon make this a stinky sweat bucket

This lightweight full-face helmet scores well on sizing but unfortunately not on ventilation. With no channelling and only five small ports in the poly inner, it gets hot very quickly.

The carbon fibre shell keeps weight down to 914g for our medium sample, nearly 200g less than the standard £94.99 Staten helmet. It also comes in four sizes rather than the usual three so you should be able to find a good fit.

The big D-rings get a pull-tab for undoing with gloves plus a press stud to stop the ends flapping about. There’s a liner around the chin guard and the angle of the peak (US: visor) is adjustable.

The advertised ‘removable, washable liner’ only refers to the cheek pieces and small scalp pad. Don’t accidentally detach the whole polystyrene inner trying to get the rest of the liner off like we did.
