You know those unbelievable, viral mountain bike videos that get passed around social media? Chances are, the rider is Mongoose pro-rider Chris Akrigg. The Yorkshire-based trials guru who rides for Mongoose, Shimano, Fox, PRO, Fabric, Royal Racing and 7idp.

Akrigg admitted his well-used bike was a bit thrashed because it was the exact one he used in the edit below.

Thrashed may have been a bit of understatement as the Maxxis tires were worn, the crank arm's finish was rubbed off, the grips appeared melted and the shock had lost all its damping.

The 160mm travel Mongoose Teocali frame looked no less loved with plenty of scuff marks and dings throughout the frame, no doubt accumulated on missed attempts.
