Genesis Zero and Greipel’s Ridley Noah SL among tasty treats coming to iceBike*

Everything from race bikes to urban commuters to E-bikes heading to MK:Arena

Undecided whether to head down to the iceBike* show in Milton Keynes next month? Well not only are the doors being thrown open to the public for the first time ever in its 10-year history, we’ve heard that there are some very exciting bikes to check out.

British bike brand Genesis will be showing off its complete 2016 range of bikes, including the carbon-framed Genesis Datum 30 ‘adventure road’ bike, hugely popular steel-framed Croix de Fer, the new Bridge series and also the race-ready Zero, as ridden by the Madison Genesis team. There will even be the chance to win a Genesis Zero has part of a turbo trainer challenge.

Also bringing its entire 2016 road range will be Belgian powerhouse Ridley, bike supplier to the Lotto Soudal team. Ridley will be proudly showing off Andre Greipel’s famous green Noah SL, the bike he rode to victory on stage five of 2015’s Tour de France. Cyclocross riders will be want to check out the brand new X-Night SL25, making its first public appearance.

Don’t worry trail heads, you haven’t been forgotten – Saracen will also be out in force with its latest machines. Among the bikes on display at Arena:MK will be the full-suspension Kili Flyer Elite and hardtail Mantra Trail Carbon, both of which can be ordered then and there.

Ridgeback and Rapide will display their range of 2016 bikes, covering everything from useful commuters and wallet-friendly mountain bikes to high-end road bikes. Rapide will be making a lot of noise about its stunning RL Disc gravel bikes, including the top-of-the-range RL3 Disc bike.

E-bikes

Ridgeback's bringing its new Electron e-bikes to Milton Keynes

Taking advantage of the e-bike test track, the Ridgeback Electron will also be out on demonstration for visitors to check out. The Electron is the debut e-bike range from Ridgeback and makes use of Shimano STEPS technology, which has four-hour charge time and a range of up to 125km.

Finally, budget brand Adventure will be at the show with its latest collection of bikes, including the Flat White which we described last year as a “fully equipped tourer at a hard-to-believe price”. Adventure will also be bringing a whole range of children’s bikes to iceBike*, to complement the tourers.

In case you missed it, there will also be the chance to bag a free bike fit at iceBike* this year, courtesy of the experts from BikeFitting.com. This year’s iceBike* already has more than 50 brands confirmed to attend, including big names such as Shimano, Lazer, Genesis, Ridley and Park Tool.
