New sensor opens up Turbo Muin platform for third party apps

In recent years Elite has got into the game of interactive direct drive trainers – this year, the company is taking things a step further with third party support.

The Turbo Muin is now two years old but its direct-drive fluid technology and interactive training programmes are still cutting edge. The Real Turbo Muin was revealed last year, adding magnetic resistance to the winning formula.

For 2016, the clever fellows at Elite have been working on implementing new software for the Turbomuin system as well as opening up the platform. At Eurobike, the company launched a new Bluetooth Smart / ANT+ sensor to allow the use of third party software including TrainerRoad, Kinomap or virtual racing platform Zwift.
