June 11 2016 sees the start of Bike Week, the biggest nationwide cycling event in the UK with over half a million people taking part. Highlighting the social, health and environmental benefits of cycling, Bike Week aims to get people all over the UK to give cycling a go, whether it’s for fun, to get to work or school, or just to visit friends.

This year’s Bike Week has a focus on encouraging people to to cycle to work and if you pledge to take part you’ll be in with the chance to win prizes which include a Genesis Croix de Fer 10 bike.

There are events taking place all over the UK, so check out the Bike Week events calendar to see what’s happening near you. And if you register your own event on the Bike Week website (using this link) you’ll get free public liability insurance, which will cover events until the end of September 2016.
