The only non-European ever to medal at the CX worlds tells his story

Jonathan Page remains the only non-European to podium in the 66-year history of the UCI World Cyclocross Championships and has also tamed the mud and madness to earn four US national championship titles.

The American’s 2007 world championship campaign in Hooglede-Gits, Belgium, began inauspiciously with a ripped and dislocated shoulder three months before the race. It ended with a silver medal slung around his neck in front of 40,000 cheering fans.
