Mountain bike stems have been shrinking down to sub-50mm lengths for many years. But at some point, the stem can't get shorter than the diameter of the handlebar it's mounted to.
Pacenti's P-Dent concept uses a concave 'dent' that allows the handlebar to wrap around the stem, giving riders the option to run stems as short as 20mm.
