Q&A High and Dry

Q: I want to take my phone and camera riding but don't want to risk them getting flooded if it rains or I crash in a pond. Does anyone do a properly waterproof seat pack?

A: Ortlieb - the home of every sort of utterly waterproof luggage imaginable - have done bike bags for ages, but their seat packs have always been a bit bulky. Their new softcase ones are much neater though, come in several sizes and have a totally sealed rubber welt to keep your stuff bone dry. Contact Lyon on 01539 625493 or www.lyon.co.uk for more info.
