The organisers behind the ever-popular SCODY 3 Peaks Challenge and Bupa Around the Bay plan to deliver the state of New South Wales its very own demanding endurance cycle event. The Newcastle Challenge will offer participants a unique experience over a 160km route scheduled for Sunday 16 February 2014.

Sydney-siders and travellers alike will welcome the comprehensive traffic management program and experience that Bicycle Network provides. Each rider will also be provided with a timing chip, lunch, mechanic assistance including sag wagon, the highly popular valet service – for a mid-ride kit drop or change - and a gear bag transported through to the finish in Newcastle.

The exact route is yet to be announced but rest assured the terrain will challenge riders of all abilities. Entries will open on Monday 30 September to Bicycle Network members and a complementary event jersey will be given to those who enter before November 15.
