Upload your commutes and get involved

An impressive 275 users have signed up to BikeRadar Training's October Commuter Challenge, many of whom have already cycled to work or back more than 20 times.

To win the challenge, you have to ride your bike to work and back as often as possible throughout the month of October. Those who log at least 20 sessions will be entered into a prize draw, and one lucky winner will win a Polaris Aquanought backpack, Schwalbe London tyres and a BikeRadar Training T-shirt.

Unless you've got a weekend at work coming up, time's running out to hit that 20 session benchmark, but it's still worth joining the group – five people who log at least 10 sessions will be in with a chance to nab an exclusive BikeRadar Training top. There'll also be weekly spot prizes, giving you plenty of chances to win.

This week, the mini challenge was to log the longest commute, and Carlosdsanchez took first prize with a 22.5-mile commute each way! We’ll be announcing another mini challenge next week, so keep an eye on the group discussion board.

How to enter

1. Join the Commuter Challenge group. You'll need to be a registered member – sign up for free.

2. Upload your commutes by 31 October 2012. When you upload your activity, be sure to set the session type to commute or your data won't be counted.

3. Keep checking BikeRadar to see how you're progressing on the challenge leaderboard.

And if you want to get your friends involved, tell the world about this challenge on Facebook and Twitter using the tag #bikeradartraining.
