Jack Luke and Josh Evans are currently sunning themselves in Adelaide, working hard to bring us all the gossip from the 2019 Tour Down Under. In this video, Jack gives us the lowdown on the hottest new road tech they’ve spotted on the front lines.

Feast your eyes on the latest tech we've spotted at the Tour Down Under

Among the new tech seen so far, Jack discusses SRAM’s new 12-speed eTap with its 10-tooth small cog, as well as Campagnolo’s unreleased 12-speed EPS groupset, which a number of teams are racing.

On top of this, the guys spotted an unspecified lightweight climbing shoe from Specialized, along with a new lace-up shoe from Rapha.

Finally, Jack walks us through the new POC Ventral Air helmet, which in his words, is perfect for the temperatures they’re enduring in Oz right now.

It’s a hard job working in all that sunshine while the rest of us in the northern hemisphere try to thaw out… but someone’s got to do it.
