Stage 7 of the Tour of Britain saw a split day of racing, consisting of a time trial and a slightly unconventional criterium-style race through the same Bristol course in the afternoon. Tony Martin took the win in the morning's time trial with BMC's Rohan Dennis, who finished second in the time trial, winning the penultimate Tour of Britain stage (7b) in the afternoon's lap race.

With all the racing taking place it was a great opportunity to take a look at some of the TT tech on show.

The individual time trial is where races can be won or lost, and marginal gains are of the utmost importance. In the gallery above you can see just how personal a time trial set-up is for the riders. The latest aerodynamic technologies were on show as were some slightly less technologically advanced 'upgrades' such as electrical tape.
