BikeRadar score4/5

A whole load of ultra-minimalist saddles have been launched on to the scene over the past two or three years, and this is one of the more comfortable ones that we've ridden - it's a whole lot more forgiving than its skimpy looks would suggest.

The base is carbon composite, the rails are hollow titanium and the upper is a synthetic leather, all of which results in a piffling weight of just 180g (our version was actually lighter than the 190g claimed by the manufacturer, which is a first).

The nose is narrow and there's just enough padding to take the sting out of the trail without any squidginess - although saddles are so much a matter of personal preference that we'd advise you to try before you buy if at all possible.

With many lightweight components, the less you get, the more you pay, so it's refreshing to see this one coming in the right side of 30 quid.
