Campagnolo can always be relied upon to produce clothing that’s high performing and stylish at the same time, and their new rain jacket is no exception.
The Heritage La Flandre harks back to years gone by with its vintage design, but the waterproof, windproof and breathable Textran material it’s made from is thoroughly modern. It features reflective logos visible at 160m and a zipped, fully waterproof side pocket. It’s available now in three colours – blue, black or orange – for £149.99.
The Ardea is Fizik’s new ‘entry-level’ model, although at £69.99 it costs more than some companies’ top-end perches. Available in black or white, it has a Microtex cover, nylon/carbon shell, manganese rails and weighs 239g.
The Ardea is also available in a ‘Versus’ version with a pressure-relieving channel (Fizik reckon full cutouts weaken the saddle structure too much). Apart from that, it has exactly the same spec. It’s again available in black or white, for £69.99, via Extra in the UK.

Pure products are available from Fisher Outdoor Leisure.
If helping to save the planet isn’t your thing, Weldtite’s Cleaning Bucket (£28.99) contains all the maintenance essentials you’ll ever need in a handy bucket package. In it is wet lube, teflon lube, bike cleaner, an aerosol degreaser, sponge and a variety of brushes. It’s available in shops now.
Made from silicone, this iPhone holder can be stretched and contorted into a ton of different positions depending on what you need it for. Bondi reckon the hook can be bent round your stem for bike use or hung from your rear view mirror in the car. It works as a desk stand too. It’s available now direct from Bondi in 10 colours for £12.95/$19.90.
Velobici are a British clothing firm who place style and comfort above everything else. Their VB seamless arm warmers (£40) are made of Italian merino wool mixed with Thermo-Cool fabric for added breathability. They also have anti-slash elbow protection should you come a cropper on the road, plus optional thumb holes. As with all their products, they’re designed and manufactured in the UK.
Flandria offer the opportunity to customise your bike with your very own personalised decals. You can have your name, along with the flag of your country, printed onto a clear vinyl sticker in a variety of fonts and colours. They’re highly adhesive but can be removed easily by heating with a hair dryer. Prices are £10 for a pack of four, £13 for 10 and £15 for 20.
Muddyfox are best known for their entry-level mountain bikes but they have a range of cycle clothing too and we’ve just been sent samples of some of their latest kit by Sports Direct. As you’d expect at this price, it’s not the best fitting or highest performance gear we’ve come across. But it’s definitely worth a look if you’re on a tight budget as there are some real bargains to be found online – for example, the jersey below has an RRP of £26.99 but can be bought for as little as £5.39.
