In the fifth video of our 26 vs 29er video series, we look at how the torque generated on a 29er mountain bike can hugely improve your climbing capabilities compared to smaller wheeled bike.

The series stars Mountain Biking UK and What Mountain Bike magazine gurus Doddy and Justin Loretz, examining the differences between 29in- and 26in-wheeled bikes with the aim of dispelling some of the myths and rumours surrounding the two. We've already brought you shorts on how 29ers give you more for less, how they can handle tricky terrain better and how they can offer more stability over rough terrain.

Stay tuned tomorrow when you'll be able to view the whole series in a single video.
