What kind of bike would you build if money were no object? This special YT Jeffsy CF 29, built up with premium SRAM components, including the new Eagle AXS wireless groupset, would probably come close.

The hi-modular composite carbon 29er frame has a go-fast red paintjob, RockShox Pike Ultimate forks and a Deluxe Ultimate shock, and it's fitted with a RockShox Reverb AXS seatpost, Zipp 3Zero MOTO wheels with SRAM g2 Ultimate brakes and Truvative Descendant handlebar and stem.

It's a drool-worthy build, made all the more interesting for two reasons in particular.

The first is that this bike is up for grabs. This dream build YT Jeffsy CF 29 will be on tour around Europe, making stops at the Eurobike trade and exhibition show (4–7 September, Friedrichschaffen, Germany) and the downhill and cross-country World Cup at Les Get (12–14 July, France). At the end of the season, it'll be auctioned off.

Which brings us to the second reason this bike is significant. It's being auctioned off for an incredibly good cause: World Bicycle Relief.

World Bicycle Relief is a charity that distributes specially constructed bicycles to communities in need in Indonesia, Thailand, Ghana, Tanzania, Eritrea, Peru and other countries worldwide.

These bicycles have multiple benefits: they allow children to get to school quickly and safely, they allow health workers to visit more people and they allow small buisnesses to transport more goods in less time.

The charity also works to train up mechanics in the areas that the bikes have been placed so they can be maintained locally.

There'll be more information on the auction itself in the next few weeks, and we'll share that as soon as it becomes available in case any of you want to get your mitts on it.
