Our review
Great summer jersey that will suit roadies, cross-country racers and trail riders alike

Finding suitable jerseys to wear in hot weather can be tricky. The Descente Precept jersey’s cooling design means it’s rapidly gaining pride of place in our riding wardrobe. It’s all thanks to the construction of the panels, which contain mesh areas to improve ventilation.

We love the close – but not tight – cut, the subtle, stylish branding and the reflective chevrons on the rear pockets.

You may not like the revealing nature of the mesh sections or appreciate the rear pockets, which are droopy when full.

It's only available in black, which may not show up the mud, but tends to absorb the sun’s rays more quickly than paler colours.

Nevertheless, this is a great jersey if you're out with the mad dogs and Englishmen in the midday sun.
