Our review
The pockets are a pain but otherwise a good versatile jersey

Packed with features, the female-fit Finchdean is a firm favourite among our testers. Very few women’s jerseys are available with a full-length zip and, come the height of summer, we really appreciate being able to unzip to the navel for maximum ventilation. There are also lighter weight panels under the arms to assist cooling.

Multiple panels make for a smooth, flattering shape that follows curves neatly and the soft, slinky fabric handle is thanks to Meryl microfibre, a blend of polyester and elastane that wicks effectively and kept us cool.

Styling is on the traditional side but the cut is spot on, with plenty of length in the body and sleeves and a slightly raised neck for protection.

Two pockets share a single zip and this makes them awkward to access; inevitably we had to unzip both fully to find what we needed and getting them done up again while on the move was a faff.
