This base layer from Fox offers a relaxed it more typical of today’s freeride fashion than tight-itting race-style kit. That said, it does have a drop tail to ensure you don’t get a chilly back when you’re in the riding position.
It’s made from 100 percent polyester so does a good job of keeping you dry and warm but the downside of synthetic is it can get a bit ripe smelling after a day hacking around.
Fox has designed this top so it can be worn on its own – it has a handy rear zip pocket – or as part of a layering system. The 18cm (7in) front zip helps you get plenty of air when you need it for added temperature control. A great loose-itting top for messing about in the woods.
