Gore's ALP-X Thermo jersey is a relatively close fitting yet very comfortable long sleeve riding top with a full main zip, a zipped 'Napoleon' pocket, two rear side pockets plus a smaller-zipped fella for keys/loose change.
The fit is great with long sleeves cut for when you're riding on your bike. It's a solidly performing general riding/conditions top and perfect for layering use. The back isn't quite as dropped as it might be for getting stretched on the bike but it's fine for general trail riding, plus the collar is high and, when combined with a base and a windproof gilet, it's a perfect two/ three season combo. It's also available in a variety of decent colours, with stormtrooper white being the most striking.
