Moves from racetrack to trails and back again with ease

Three rear drop pockets are the classic answer to storage while on the bike and on Gore’s Power jersey the tops have been slanted to ease access. The change in cut is barely noticeable and we had no problems with items escaping as we have with some other slanted pockets, but we really appreciate not being reminded how inflexible our shoulders are every time we want to grab a snack.

Full-length zips are the only surefire way to allow efficient ventilation when you’re working hard and, as the fabric of the Power is fairly substantial, you’ll be glad of the additional airflow. However, it breathes and wicks exceptionally well, there are sizeable seamless mesh panels situated over the underarms to increase airflow and the main body of the jersey feels protective, rather than heavy.

All the seams are overlocked for toughness and comfort, and the multiple panel cut is slim without sticking to your ribs. The neck is also welcomingly deep at the rear, providing plenty of sun protection, and drops away at the front so it doesn’t interfere with your chin.

Sleeves are pleasingly long and a half-width gripper keeps the hem neatly in place.
