Effective materials in a head-turning colour and competition-ready cut

If you like pink, this is an 'I want one' jersey.

But it's not all about looks from the Italian designers at Northwave; the material is functional, too.

The Varsity is light in weight thanks to the patterned, mesh-like weave of Polyester Multilight, which is also excellent at wicking sweat from the inside and forcing it out. Contrasting side panels are open mesh to let air flow through and they extend to the upper back.

Northwave aims this top at performance riders for training and competition so the fit is close without being skintight. The arm holes are a snug fit, but the elastic bottom hem is not restrictive and it stays flat.

There's a hidden front zip and a good reflective strip across the zipper on the rear pocket. Space inside is decent and it's relatively easy to access on the go.
