Warm, comfy and breathable. Just check the fit before you buy

In the few months we've been trying this jersey it's wormed its way to the top of the pile for chilly-day rides. With fleece-backed windproof chest and sleeve panels up front, and highly breathable Thermastretch out back, it not only breathes well but fits snugly too – those stretch panels just draw everything in nicely.

The long back, thumb loops and close fitting fleecy neck mean you can batten down the hatches too, and we've rarely reached for a waterproof in light rain showers. Effective reflectives also help if you hit that last section of road before home in the twilight. Our sample had a twist in the right arm that meant the non-windproof panel tended to move to the front when pulled on. A little annoying but probably a one-off. Try yours in the shop first to check.
