The Diabolus is a lesson in how to do casual-with-benefits. The relaxed T-shirt styling looks uncomplicated but attention to detail means that it delivers a lot more.
It’s usually a good sign when we get back from testing a jersey and have to think hard about how it felt, because we forgot all about it – and that’s what happened here.
The sublimated print fabric has a substantial handle, but the smooth skin-side surface means it doesn’t feel that way in action and the fit is good on or off the bike.
The flat seams don’t quite have the finesse of jerseys from some of Race Face’s rivals but this was still tough to give back at the end of the test. Oh, and there’s a small pocket and lens wipe too.
