Swobo Long Sleeve Merino review

This shirt's fabric is super fine MAPP wool, which feels fantastically soft against the skin. It wicks sweat fast, and though it doesn't dry fast, the shirt stays warm and works well as an outer or under layer.

Our review
Finest quality wool performance but seriously expensive and delicate too

This shirt's fabric is super fine MAPP wool, which feels fantastically soft against the skin. It wicks sweat fast, and though it doesn't dry fast, the shirt stays warm and works well as an outer or under layer. The soft feel means the flatlocked shoulder seam isn't a bag issue, and the cut relies on fabric stretch not panelling. Long cuffs and a tall collar add cosiness, but a short-sleeved version is available for £79.99. Both versions have an extra long front zip.

The classic three back pocket arrangement is bar tacked for extra strength and you get contrast double stitching and an embroidered logo on the sleeve. The wool tends to tear really easily once holed, so be careful not to crash with this much cash at stake.
