Our female testers were divided over the looks of this jersey-come-fleece jacket. Some hated the cosmic ring design which they felt had just too much a hint of the Eighties about it.
The Cashmina uses a modern, lightweight, quick-drying fleece material that’s soft, warm and cosy. On the rear are three functional pockets, although no zip pocket for valuables like keys and cash.
While it offers a reassuringly snug feel, it lacks many features of a good bike jersey such as sealing cuffs, and there’s no zip 'garage' to stop neck irritation and no baffle on the half-length zip to stop draughts. These downsides are fine on warmer days but when the mercury falls they are truly missed.
