Our review
Versatile cut and robust material, with room to move

The Troy Lee Designs Ace jersey is something of a hybrid – the practical rear pockets and full-length front zip lean towards cross-country use but the easy fit nods towards freeride style.

It’s not a combination that always works, but in this case it does. The fit through the shoulders is neat enough that the jersey doesn’t move around but there’s plenty of room for movement, and we like the extra room in the body over proper skinny cuts. The fabric feels substantial so you might want something lighter for the hottest days, but we didn’t overheat and it wicks well.

This has proved a robust jersey and we like its versatility – a touch of reflective on the back combined with the more relaxed cut and stowage options mean we use this for commutes too.
