Our review
Quality-feeling pedal with great mechanism for clipping in and lots of adjustability Buy if, You want an aggressive, supportive pedal that's easy to engage with

Pros:

Feel-adjustable, good sized platform with best-of-both-worlds mechanism

Cons:

Cleat seems to pop out of mechanism a touch easier than others

Nukeproof made its name with quality flat pedals and, like DMR, this is its first clipless set.

Using a Shimano compatible cleat (four-degree release, eight-degree also available), Nukeproof’s mechanism is sprung on both sides, and the cleat’s front and back are chamfered, allowing entry into the pedal forwards, down and backwards. This makes it easy to clip in to in technical terrain, and does so with a positive feel.

A lot of shaping has been done to the mechanism and cage in order to allow it to slide over rocks and roots easier, and this is noticeable on the trail — I never found myself getting hung up on debris.

There are six height-adjustable pins per side - What Mountain Bike

I did find my cleats popping out of the mechanism during pedal strikes a touch more frequently than I expected. The relatively open design also seems impervious to mud.

There are six height-adjustable pins per side, which alter the feel of the pedal, but I found it offered plenty of support in its standard format. Removing the pin washers will offer flatter shoes more grip on the pedal.

The cro-mo axle is supported by a DU bushing and two bearings, which have proved reliable on Horizon's flat pedals. A smaller caged CS version is available at the same price.
