Great downhill & freeride shoes with an awesome sole

These looked a little gimpy in the catalogue, but we were stoked when they rocked up. In the flesh, the red and black with Adidas triple stripe detailing really works .

The shoes have a neoprene ankle sock and a lace lock system, covered by a velcro secured flap with a rad looking metal mesh inset.

It is not just the looks that grabbed us though. Clipping in is easy and unhindered. The sole is really quite flexible, which is great for control and feel for downhilling, but you can’t feel the shoe plate through the sole, and power transfer is still quite good.
