Good features for the money, but sizing is slightly wayward

DHB, Exclusive to online retailer Wiggle, continues to offer some of the best value gear around.

The T1 uses a Cordura and suede upper that’s both hard wearing and looks good too. There are reflective tabs at the back, a re-usable SPD plate and an elasticated lace tidy up front.

The soles are deeply lugged for hiking grip, with a stitched toe bumper to prevent it from peeling away from the shoe over time. All good features for the money.

The only issue that we really had with the T1s was the fit, which came up considerably smaller than any of the other shoes on test.

We reckon the size 44s were more of a 43, which isn’t ideal for internet based ordering.

Overall quality is good, though it can’t match the likes of Shimano, but considering the price it’s great value, just go up a size.
