Excellent downhill or BMX racing shoes

These shoes from the Big S are intended for downhill or BMX racing and do both really well. They’ve got bags of grip but a bit less style.
We weren’t sure about the look of them at all. The words ‘granny’ and ‘gardening’ were banded about for a bit.
The Vibram sole offers super tacky rubber similar to the likes of FiveTen’s and Helly Hansen’s and grips really well.
The cut and fit is good though thanks to padded inner ankle guards and a hard-wearing outsole.
As with most such shoes, they’re just too tacky for dirt and street riding.
