Conor McGregor has been using road cycling as part of his training regime ahead of his UFC 229 Mixed Martial Arts fight on Sunday 7 October.

The Irish fighter, with an estimated net worth of $85 million, has been training on a custom carbon FiftyOne bike and wearing a custom jersey from Australian clothing brand Attaquer.
McGregor was introduced to road cycling in 2017, ahead of boxing Floyd Mayweather, by a member of his medical team, who is a former national road race champion of Ireland. The sport is now a key part of McGregor's training program.
McGregor's bike is a custom-painted, custom carbon frameset from Irish brand FiftyOne Bikes and is equipped with a SRAM Red eTap groupset and Zipp wheels.
It is understood the Irishman rides with flat pedals due to existing knee injuries causing issues with clipless pedals.
