Our review
An almost faultless short sleeve jersey that's perfect for summer conditions

Endura's Equipe line is developed and tested by the company's Continental level pro team, Endura Racing. The range is home to their most advanced products and is aimed at hardened racers or ambitious sportive cyclists.

The Equipe jersey is made from a mixture of CoolMax fabric and Lycra, with mesh panels on the underarms and shoulder blades. Regardless of the price – and for £59.99 (US$101.52) it's one of the best value on the market – this has been our favourite jersey for a few months now.

It has a significantly longer cut on both the arms and torso, which suited our gangly frame to perfection. Our medium size fitted very well – tight on the arms and with no excess material bunching up around the midriff when we were in the saddle.

The fabric is extremely breathable and keeps you cool even in the most hot and humid conditions. The simple design, also available in black, red and green, is an appealing antidote to some of the more garish team kits, too.

The only downside is the three rear pockets, with the two on either side of the large middle pouch a little too small for comfort. It was difficult to take gels and food out of them at speed on the bike.
